A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. Anyone can attend, participate, and present. To learn more, go to barcamp.org. This is a non-profit event: Attending is free of charge.

We're expecting 50-100 attendees from all over Switzerland and Europe. The segment of people will likely be skewed towards the tech crowd.

When and Where
On Saturday 24th of October 2009, 09:30am, at the University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil.
Introduction will start at around 10:00am and presentations at around 10:20am.
Map
It is strongly recommended to arrive by train. Rapperswil is greatly integrated in the ZVV schedule and several S-Bahn (S5, S7, S15, S17) arrive directly in front of the venue (35 minutes from Zurich HB). If you arrive by car, the best place to park your car is in front of the ice hockey stadium. See the P-icon in the map above.

Lunch Time
Within 5-10 minutes of walking are several restaurants, pizza, a Migros and Turkish food stands. Over lunch you can go out there or bring your own food.
